JOB RESPONSIBILITIES for Tool and Die Maker II

Works from blueprints and sketches to create or modify prototypes, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and molds. Calculates the dimensions and tolerances required to set up the machine tools. Operates lathes, grinders, milling, and boring machines to produce tools. Generally is participating in and has completed initial phases of an apprenticeship or on the job training program.
